We, a swissgerman couple, are selling our property on the beautiful Nicoya Peninsula.


The finca is located in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula, safe and quiet in the countryside with a breathtaking view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. As there is always a light breeze, it is very pleasant, yet it is not far to the beautiful beaches. It is located just above the village of Montaña Grande and has all the necessary infrastructure (water, electricity 110/240, internet, telephone, paths, etc.). 

 

The two stylish houses with infinity pools, fencing and storage areas can comfortably accommodate two families (one house can of course also be used as a rental property).


Despite the quiet location, a school and a bar with restaurant in Montaña Grande are only 3 minutes away by car. The nearest larger shopping facilities in Lepanto and Jicaral can also be reached in 10-15 minutes. In Jicaral there is also a modern hospital, dentists, pharmacies, banks, petrol station, car and motorcycle maintenance and all essentials. The ferry to Playa Naranjo is 25 minutes away, numerous good restaurants and beautiful beaches can be reached in 15 - 30 minutes.

The fenced finca covers 7 ha with an adjoining stream. This invites you to swim with its small cascades and natural pool, and there are also 2 other good springs on the land. The plot has an approved building area of 75%, which allows further expansion or can also be parceled out and partially sold. There are also two neat bungalows which bring in regular additional income for guest rentals and jungle experiences. There is also a rancho and a renovated stable for keeping animals. If you want to breed fish, crabs or the like, there are four breeding tanks.


The soil is extremely fertile (no red earth) and there are already a large number of medicinal and useful plants, various fruit trees and timber. To name a few examples - lemons, mandarins, mangos, nonis, advocados, guabanas, caimitos, zapotes, pitahayas, almonds and cashew nuts, various types of bananas. A teak plantation has also been established as an investment on the outskirts of the finca, as well as a large number of pochotes, cedars, guanacastes, laurels, etc.


The property is well-kept and natural, no sprays or toxins have been used. Therefore, the rich Costa Rican biodiversity is fully intact and we enjoy many animals such as white-headed and howler monkeys, armadillos, coatis, iguanas, birds, colorful butterflies, mariola bees, just to name a few.

Bungalows

The two bungalows are lovingly maintained and furnished. They offer a great jungle feeling for up to 7 people and can be used as a good source of income.
